In the beta version, the social score is still being developed. Huddle Up is based on making learning more effective and relevant due to the shared feedback between participants. In our view, learning isn’t about having the right answer or even having the best solution. We learn by raising the collective level of achievement for everyone, and the social score is our metric for providing evidence for whose sharing and interacting is helping others learn. Huddle Up doesn’t have a winner. The social score is simply an alternative way to gather data about each participants’s effectiveness and interaction within the platform. Within each course, participants earn points based on their actions in completing components and sharing feedback with others. Our scale for earning points toward a social score will be shared when we formally launch this component.
